On Saturday 7th May the first ever Squires Junior Netball Tournament was held.
The tournament is named after Raychem Netball Club Chair Mo Squires. The first Adult Squires Tournament was held 4 years ago to raise money for Prospect Hospice, a favourite charity of Mo’s parents. Two years ago the tournament was used to raise funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital. This year the idea was to hold two tournaments, Junior and Adult, to raise funds for MS UK and the Swindon MS Therapy Centre.
Both of these charities are close to members of Raychem Netball Club as two have been living with the illness and others have experience of family members using the Therapy Centre for various treatments.
